Career change: After 16 years of playing the harp, I finally decided to pursue my dream career and become a full-time harpist!

"Where have you traveled?"

Due to a military upbringing, I have changed home address 34 times and lived in 10 states. This mobile childhood jumpstarted my wanderlust and sparked curiosity to see more of the world. Studying Chinese led me to live in Asia for three years, where I completed a language immersion program and my master’s degree. Later, I lived in Western Europe for one year as a digital nomad. And recently, I’ve enjoyed backpacking trips through Eastern Europe and Asia. I am currently enjoying living in Seattle, though I plan to spend years living abroad in the Southern Hemisphere someday. I love collecting sheet music as a souvenir from the places I visit and I pin everywhere I’ve been on this map when I return home!

North America:
Bahamas, Canada, Jamaica, Mexico, United States

Asia:
Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Tibet

Europe:
Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, England, France, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Malta Moldova Montenegro, North Macedonia, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Romania, San Marino, Scotland, Serbia, Slovenia, Transnistria, Vatican City, Wales

My goal is to visit every country in the world.

Upcoming Projects

Parallel to my career performing live in Seattle, I’m also working on content creation as @WanderingHarpist. I create videos sharing my exploration of arts and culture through the lens of my harp, and all of my videos feature original audio. I’m currently working on editing my first video in this series, a private interview with a professional horsehead fiddle player in Mongolia. Check it out soon on my Youtube channel!
